Winfield church of Christ

About Us:

The Winfield church of Christ is a family of Christians seeking to walk in the old paths (Jeremiah 6:16) and do all things according to the pattern found in the New Testament for the church of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 1:13).
 
If you visit with us we trust you will receive a warm welcome and find that we are a friendly and caring group of individuals – imperfect people who believe in the perfect plan of Christ for His church. We seek to uphold the principles of the New Testament in our worship, organization, plan of salvation, and everyday living in Christ.
 
We believe that God is praised by the “fruit of lips” alone (Hebrews 13:15), and we do not use any mechanical instruments of music in worship (Colossians 3:16-17). We practice believers baptism for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38). We believe that the Lord has ordained male leadership in the church and abide by those standards (1 Timothy 2:8-15). We observe the Lord’s Supper every first day of the week (Acts 20:28).
 
We have four elders as our spiritual leaders and deacons as our spiritual servants
(1 Timothy 3:1-13). Our goal is to speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent.
 
We are convinced that the Bible is not only authoritative, but is also relevant today as mankind’s best guide for everyday living. We would love to have you worship with us.
